Susanna Schrobsdorff is an award-winning essayist and a contributor to TIME magazine and the Washington Post. She writes the It's Not Just You newsletter on Substack where she has more than 17,000 subscribers. Previously, she was executive editor, senior vice president and columnist at TIME magazine, and a digital director at Newsweek and NBC-Universal. As an editor, writer, and mentor, Susanna has produced multi-platform features, columns and videos that have attracted millions of readers and viewers including TIME’s 2017 Person of the Year: The Silence Breakers about the #metoo movement, end-of-life care, empathy in America, Hillary Clinton, Stormy Daniels, Thanksgiving in Paris, healthcare in Appalachia, the truth about egg freezing, and an all-female off-road rally across the Sahara. Susanna has covered five Olympic games and reported from nine countries on everything from prostitution to American elections. She has been a moderator and live media editor for panels and workshops on tech, education, mental health, and leadership at Fortune’s Global Forum, Fortune’s Brainstorm Tech in Aspen, The Women’s Forum of New York, United Nations Women, and at the World Economic Forum, Davos. Susanna is a winner of a New York Press Club award for outstanding digital coverage and three Front Page awards for cultural commentary, interactive journalism, and video. She lives with a small cosseted dog on the Canal St. Martin in Paris.

Glynnis MacNicol is the author of three books including I'm Mostly Here to Enjoy Myself: One Woman's Pursuit of Pleasure and No One Tells You This. She wrote, produced, and hosted WILDER: A Reckoning with the Legacy of Laura Ingalls Wilder, for iHeart Media. She has contributed to numerous collections. She writes the weekly newsletter Good Decisions. I'm Mostly Here to Enjoy Myself was named to TIME’s 100 Must-Read Books of 2024. No One Tells You This (S&S, 2018), was named one of the Best Books of 2018 by Esquire, the Financial Times, and the CBC, and was a 2019 New York Times 'Paperback Row' pick. WILDER was an official Tribeca Festival 2023 Selection. Her writing has been featured in the The New York Times, The Guardian, Vogue, The Cut, New York Daily News, Town & Country, The Daily Beast, GEN, and ELLE, among others. She started out as a media and politics reporter for The Huffington Post, and later Business Insider, and covered the 2008 conventions for Playboy magazine. In 2021, MacNicol co-produced and story-edited iHeart Media's Under the Influence podcast, hosted by Jo Piazza. It's been named to multiple 'best of' lists. Additionally, she has authored Becoming a Baker, part of Simon & Schuster's 'Masters at Work' series, and co-wrote HelloFlo: The Guide, PERIOD.: The Everything Puberty Book for the Modern Girl (Dutton, 2017), with HelloFlo founder Naama Bloom. With Rachel Sklar, she co-edited and contributed to the best-selling Amazon Kindle essay collection The 10 Habits of Highly Successful Women. In 2012, MacNicol co-founded TheList with Rachel Sklar.
